As well as supporting the wider
mission of the Presbyterian Church through the normal channels, the
congregation has had a special interest in Tuum in Northern Kenya and
the ministry of Stephen and Angelina Cowan (PCI Missionaries) in that area.
In the past ten years, Paul and
Elizabeth Davis have made frequent visits to Kenya to help Stephen
and Angelina with the Bible Clubs for young people and in other ways
as well; and have kept the congregation up to date with the culture
and the basic life style of the local people there, all that is going
on there, and the need for basic resources.
Members of the congregation have
contributed financially to support this work
through various fund-raising events.
We as a congregation have
continually prayed for the work in Kenya as well as the work being
carried out by all the PCI Missionaries in various countries.
